Maintenance

 

Although tuning and string changes are well within the domain of day to day harp maintenance, we must ensure that a technician inspects and performs routine maintenance on our harps as a preventative measure against the possibility of severe and undesireable developments in the harp.  

 

This periodical service is called a 'regulation service' and involves an extensive and methodical list of checking and adjustments to your harp to make sure your harp is in tip top shape and developing safely.  It also includes the replacement of certain parts on the harp that are prone to wear such as the pedal felts.
